USC Marshall Greatness Shared

DEAN'S REPORT 2019

Marshall enjoyed an outstanding 2018-2019 academic year. As we did last summer, we wanted to share some of our recent news, events, and accomplishments with you.

Our incoming undergraduate and graduate classes were our strongest ever. Our faculty shared their expertise not only with their students but also with the wider business world via the media. Our programs hosted innovators and world leaders in fields from entertainment to global logistics and supply chain. And we earned some of our highest marks from our peer institutions — something that fills me with gratitude for all who teach, learn and work at the school.

I invite you to click on the content below and enjoy this update on the many impressive accomplishments of the USC Marshall community in its 99th year.

Finally, with a transition in leadership with Interim Dean Gareth James starting next month, followed by incoming Dean Geoffrey Garrett, I will take this opportunity to say that it has been my privilege to have served as Marshall’s Dean for the past 12 years. I am so proud of the achievements of this outstanding community of teachers, learners, and creators.

Thank you for your continued interest in USC Marshall — and Fight On!
